It's a long sad story. It might even bring a tear to your eye! As hard as I've tried, I've never been able to find a woman with a passion for flyfishing, bamboo rods and the "business" of making them. It seems they all want is to live in a nice house on a hill. The one's I've been married to think silk is something one wears and not something a fly line is supposed to be made of, or the proper whipping thread an agate stripper is to be tied down with. Even the mention of "stripper" sends them into a rage. Poor me!
